About the project
This project will answer these research questions;
- How do urban form, socio-economic status and travel patterns affect social distancing practices and COVID19 infection rates across urban neighbourhoods (short-term)?
- What are the effects of COVID19 (in terms of infection fears as well as economic uncertainty) on household preferences and decision-making regarding daily mobility/activity choices and ICT use, vehicle ownership and primary residential location (mid-/long-term)?
- How does COVID19 affect policy and planning practices regarding land use (e.g. densification) and transport (mid-/long-term)?
