India's Breaking Point

Over the past three weeks, India has been engulfed in protests against the controversial Citizenship Amendment Act. Masses of protestors have rallied against what they see as a blatant attack by the Hindu nationalist regime of Narendra Modi on the rights of India's Muslim citizens and the country's secular constitution. How has India come to this breaking point? And what are the likely outcomes of the current situation?

In this ASIANET: fokus seminar, Alf Gunvald Nilsen brings us up to date on the current crisis in India.

Lunch will be served.
