Bill Gates at UiO

"Partnering for a Better Future: how can Norway´s next generation of leaders help to improve the world?" is the title of the dialoge between Bill Gates, rector Ole Petter Ottersen and Norway's Minister of Health, Bent Høie. The event will take place on November 15th at the University of Oslo.

Global health will be a central part of the discussion. The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation has over the last decade established itself as one of the most influential actors at the global health arena through its investments in prevention, vaccines and technology driven health innovation.

Gates' visit to the University is timely as The Lancet - UiO Commission on Global Governance for Health is submitting its final version of its report this week. The findings of the report is likely to be a topic of discussion during the event.

The dialogue on global health and development will be streamed online.
