Dear plant enthusiasts,
We are inviting you to the rooftop garden for some prepping and planting for the season. There will be different tasks for you to do: filling up soil, fertilising, watering, planting etc.) and we will provide all the equipment. We will also provide pizza!
The dugnad is open for everyone!
Let us know if you can come by responding in the Facebook event and help out for a couple of hours of social gardening work. You'll have to bring your own water/drinks.
How to get there
The rooftop garden (Abels terrasse) is located to the right of Niels Henrik Abels hus at Blindern.
About the UiO Rooftop Initiative
We aim to install rooftop gardens at the University of Oslo to contribute to organic food production and knowledge of the local environment and climate, create open meeting places, and reduce the heating effect from roofs.
