About the Conference
Achieving Universal Health Coverage (UHC) is arguably one of the most important targets in the Sustainable Development Goals framework, in that its achievement is basic to other targets and goals. It is therefore not surprising that this challenge has received priority attention in global debates.
However, much of that debate has focused on national health systems, and particularly issues of financing and benefits. Little attention has been given to policies outside of the health sector, as key factors that play an important role in achieving UHC.
This conference will bring together researchers, policy makers, activists and business people from around the world who are engaged in cutting edge work on issues related to the theme of the conference.
